Blue Ice and Red Ice are products from the R&D wing of Bartronics. They come as off-the-shelf OS for Smart Cards. They offer developers and Integrators a powerful GUI to configure and structure Smart Cards to suit their applications under various environments. Security can be defined at card level, application level and data level which is fully encrypted perso.
Both Blue Ice and Red Ice are ISO / IEC-7816 - 3, 4, 6, 8 and 9 compliant APDU structures. They support multi applications, DES / TDES and MAC algorithm. They support ISO / IEC 14443-4 protocol for RF interface.
They come with development kit consisting of:
